Quality Assurance Associates play an important role within licensed production facilities under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). As a QAA you will provide quality control support to cultivation, harvesting, processing, and other departments to ensure compliance with Health Canada and other applicable regulations.
This training program provides students with an introduction to key concepts and ideas around quality assurance in this highly regulated industry. Successful completion of this program will prepare students for an entry-level quality assurance position within a licensed production facility working under the Quality Assurance Person (QAP).

Participants should be generally familiar with quality systems and procedures (testing, recording and reporting). Quality systems experience in the food, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or related industries would be beneficial.
