The Government of Canada announced amendments to the Cannabis Regulations to set out the rules governing the legal production and sale of edible cannabis, cannabis extracts and cannabis topicals. These regulations will come into force on October 17, 2019.
This program is intended to provide learners who have existing quality assurance experience with an understanding of the licencing and regulatory requirements for cannabis edibles. It will introduce tools, approaches, and production practices that are critical to the safe and compliant operation of an edibles facility and to the production of safe and high quality edible cannabis products. This program will focus on the concepts and skills required to implement, and maintain a Preventative Control Plan and will provide opportunities for learners to practice these skills.
Program offered online Sep 9 – Nov 3, 2019
Tuition: $4,750 + tax
Participants are required to have a background in Quality Assurance. General Quality Assurance concepts will not be taught in this program, please refer to our Quality Assurance Associate program.
