Production Managers provide oversight, ensure compliance and manage all aspects of operations in cultivation, harvesting, processing, and related production departments in licensed cannabis production facilities under Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).
As a senior member of the leadership team at a licenced production facility, this program aims to equip individuals with the necessary industry specific knowledge and skills to be successful. Training will cover regulatory compliance at all levels of government, management of the horticultural production plan, as well as the development of operational and capital budgets. Oversight of all aspects of production and facility operations, including managing and mitigating risk exposure will also be covered.

Participants should have progressive management and/or supervisory experience in production operations, preferably in the horticultural industry. Management experience in food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or related industries would be beneficial.
